In-Kind Donors

Project Linus provides new handmade blankets and quilts for every child Safe Harbor serves. Their items are lovingly made by adults and children from all walks of life and many different sources. Project Linus donates hundreds of blankets to Safe Harbor every year.

Founder and Executive Director, Leah Barcus
Joy Doll Hospital believes girls can find hope in the idea that a doll, once broken and discarded, has been restored. Leah routinely donates Joy Dolls to Safe Harbor to be presented to children we’ve served.

The City of Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation & Events department graciously supports Safe Harbor’s annual SAVE JANE child abuse awareness event by providing tents (including set up and removal) and other support throughout the event.

From the Hearts’ mission is “to serve our community by preserving and promoting fiber arts, creating a spirit of fellowship and love among our volunteers and board members, and producing handmade items which bring comfort, love and solace to others.” They have provided Safe Harbor with beautiful handmade blankets, scarfs, hats, and other children’s accessories over the years.

Kathleen Marker

Mrs. Marker is a longtime generous supporter, first through her church, and most recently by having her family members make unique, comforting blankets for the children who come to Safe Harbor. She has given to Safe Harbor in many ways since its inception.

Katrina Masterson

Ms. Masterson has provided beautiful, luxury jewelry from her personal collection to support Safe Harbor through live and silent auctions.
